![]() ![]() This is a book about cats who live in the wild and they catch mice and eat them and they fight. This review is by Pippi, guest reviewer, age 1 and a half tabby cat. Had the story been about dogs, it might have been an entirely different situation, with the novel completed in a more timely fashion…. Although this book is highly recommended by my student and seemed rather well written, I could not get too involved in the novel, and I would frequently doze off while reading it…so much, so that my student remarked, “Why are you still reading the book? I finished it in one day.” I suspect that my lack of interest in this fantasy genre was attributed to my feeling disconnected from the story and not being entirely enthralled with the survivability of clans of cats. Much intrigue goes on between members of the ThunderClan and the opposing ShadowClan, with questionable allegiance and loyalty of a ShadowClan member. ![]() ![]() ![]() The novel is basically about four cat clans, which are fighting to survive, when a house cat named Rusty leaves the confines of his human household to become Firepaw, a member of the ThunderClan. One of my third grade students is a voracious reader, and he loaned me his copy of the book Warriors Into the Wild, insisting that it was an excellent story that I should read. ![]()

![]() ![]() I loved their entire story and I'm glad they were a series because a couple this epic deserves one. ![]() Their romance was a slow burn romance and I loved it. As stated earlier in this review, Malcolm and Rachel have some of the craziest chemistry I have ever and I just love them together. Saint did not disappoint, although he annoyed me at times (let's be honest what hot alpha man doesn't in the romance book world?) but I really enjoyed his intensity and wit throughout this series. Now Malcolm.where do I begin with Saint? Manwhore was the second series I read by Katy Evans and I had VERY high expectations because Remy (from the Real series) is my favorite guy character in the entire world. ![]() Her dream is to write something amazing that will not only put herself on the map to becoming a serious writer but she also wants to help her magazine grow. They are strong, brave, smart, intelligent, hardworking and Rachel is no exception to this. A writer getting close to a billionaire playboy but is really just spying on him to write an article for the magazine she works for? Yikes! One of my favorite things about Katy Evans is her characters don't get me wrong her male guys are great but her female characters make me so proud to be female myself. Overall thoughts: I was really intrigued by the synopsis of the Manwhore series because again it's a recipe for disaster if you think about it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Their story will shape the destiny of Britain. Harold was the unfortunate short-term king of England who was defeated by William the Conqueror at Hastings in 1066. This is a novelized account of the life of Edith Swanneck, the wife (first wife, hand-fasted according to old custom, but not recognized by the Church because they were cousins) of Harold Godwin (or Godwinson). ![]() I don’t recall where I first saw mention of The Handfasted Wife by Carol McGrath, but I’m grateful to whoever it was that made me aware of the book. ![]() ![]() ![]() Clay is the sexy, rugged man of Ethan’s dreams, and as the clock counts down on their time together, neither wants this honeymoon to end. ![]() Yet as the days pass and their connection grows, long-repressed desires surface in Clay, and they are shocked to discover romance sparking.
